Nigerian youths have been warned by Pastor Femi Timothy of Christ Kingdom Church in Ilorin not to waste their money on gaming.

Pastor Timothy emphasised in an interview conducted in Ilorin how critical it is for young people to understand their role as future leaders and to make the necessary preparations.

He voiced concern about the growing tendency of young people becoming addicted to gambling due to their need for quick money.

He advised them to focus their energies on positive pursuits instead of turning to gambling for short-term remedies.

The cleric said, “Youths must learn to face their studies and work rather than investing in gambling, which is evil and can ruin their future. They should stop wasting their little hard-earned money on gambling.

“The youth should know that gambling will take everything away from them and leave them with nothing and should, therefore, run away from it.”
