Kogi: Court Orders Gov Bello To Pay N500m To SDP’s Ajaka, See Why

EFCC Lays Siege at Ex-Gov Yahaya Bello’s Residence in Abuja

by Victor Ndubuisi

The house of former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello is surrounded by a number of agents from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency. Bello lives in Abuja.

Bello’s home is reportedly located in the Wuse Zone 4 neighbourhood of the nation’s capital on Benghazi Street.

There is a claim that the EFCC employees have blocked the roads that lead to and from the street, which has caused traffic jams in the neighbourhood.

This happened not long after Bola Tinubu and the former governor met at the State House.

“EFCC barricades Bello’ house in Abuja. No movement in the area as EFCC barricaded the house. They are yet to gain access,” a source said.
