Obi Uruagu Nnewi Lays Foundation Stone For Construction Of Community Hall and Traditional Council Chamber (Photos)

The Traditional Ruler of Uruagu Nnewi, His Highness, Obi Afamefuna Charles Obi (Ogidi IV), has laid the foundation stone of the Multi-million Naira Uruagu Community Hall and Traditional Council Chamber.

The Community Hall and Traditional Council Chamber, which is single-handled being built by the Chairman and Founder of Ibeto Group, Nigeria’s largest Conglomerate in the East, Chief Dr. Cletus Ibeto has a target completion of three (3) months.

Performing the foundation stone laying, His Highness, Obi Afamefuna Charles Obi (Ogidi IV), praised Chief Dr. Cletus Ibeto (Omekannaya) for taking up the project, which he said will add value to the community and change the face of the palace

He prayed for more blessings on the billionaire businessman and other sons and daughters, who are contributing directly and indirectly to the development of the community.

On his part, the President-General of Uruagu Nnewi Community, Chief Innocent Okoli (Makuochukwu Nnewi), said he is excited about the development coming into the community through Chief Dr. Cletus Ibeto. He revealed that the billionaire has contributed millions to the building of Uruagu Community Secretariat, noting that Chief Ibeto remains the highest donor.

He urged sons and daughters of Uruagu Community, especially those who are not thinking home, to emulate Chief Cletus Ibeto and invest their resources in the development of Uruagu Nnewi.

The brief ceremony was attended by Obi Umudim Nnewi, Obi Benneth Okafor (Amakwu), Chief Louis Carter Onwugbenu (Okpata Ozuora Nnewi), Arc. Sir Eloka Ikeh (Ifediche), Chief Agu Okonkwo, Comrade Peter Nwosu, Chief Patrick Ubajiaka (Ike Nnewi), Chief Afam Iloka (Obibuenyi), Chief Oliver Nwagbala, Hon. Amb. Charlie Nwoye, Hon. Mbazuluike Iloka and many other dignitaries.
