The chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), Imo state governor Hope Uzodimma, claimed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has greatly benefited Nigerians in spite of the clear economic difficulties.

He said these things to reporters at the party’s national secretariat on Monday in Abuja. A group of PGF members was led by Uzodimma to a meeting with the party’s leadership.

All of the current governors that were chosen using the APC platform make up the PGF.

He underlined that the gathering was a chance to show support for the party’s leadership and to extend condolences to Ganduje, who recently lost his mother-in-law, given that the governors were in Abuja.

“Politically speaking, we don’t need to over-flog the horse, the truth of the matter is that the APC has done very well in Nigeria.

“What is happening currently is a global economic problem,” the PGF chairman explained.

In light of the circumstances surrounding his assumption of office, he continued, Bola Tinubu’s administration was putting policies into place to address the nation’s present economic difficulties.

“A party like APC that is in control of 20 states out of 36, and also has produced a president and members of the Federal Executive Council in the majority.

“If the election is the game of numbers, it means the majority will win, which the other party can provide or boast of as such an asset.”

Mr. Ganduje declared the governors’ visit to be a major benefit for the party and expressed his happiness with it. He declared that the party’s leadership was happy and assured of the governors, promising to go to whatever lengths to keep a close working relationship with them.

Mr. Ganduje went on to say that the leadership will defend their interests because the governors were strengthening the party’s institutional foundation and promoting it.
