A federal high court has ordered the release of 5 #BuhariMustGo protesters arrested in Dunamis Church.
The protesters were arrested by officers of the Department of State Security Services, DSS on July 4 for allegedly wearing #BuhariMustGo t-shirts.
On Monday, Presiding justice, Anwuli Chikere ordered that the DSS should release all the protesters with immediate effect. The protesters namely; Anene Udoka, Henry Nwodo, Emmanuel Larry, Ben Manasseh, and Samuel Gabriel Iwatonaiye all filed their suits separately.

They had sued President Muhammadu Buhari, DSS and the church’s pastor-in-charge, Pastor Paul Enenche, and others for alleged unlawful arrest and detention.

The plaintiffs, who urged the court to declare their arrest and detention unlawful also asked the court to award N10 million, each, in damages, for the violation of their fundamental rights.
