The Nigerian Police Force’s Sokoto State Command had reported the capture of a guy with more than 100 Permanent Voter Cards (PVC).
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the suspect’s arrest was announced to newsmen at the command headquarters in Sokoto today.
Muhammed Ussaini Gumel, the state’s commissioner of police, stated in a statement to press that the command had not yet found the PVCs’ true owners.

According to Gumel, not all of the PVCs’ owners are thought to dwell in Sabon Birnin, the town where the suspect was detained.
He urged state residents to come to the command headquarters where copies of the cards will be on display for owners to recognize and retrieve them, especially those who had cases of missing PVCs.
The commanding officer of the state police gave the assurance that the suspect would only be charged after obtaining testimony and documentation from owners who came to the command center to retrieve their PVCs.
The commissioner also presented six recently promoted officers with their new levels shortly after the briefing.
