Nigeria is famous around the Continent, One of the Reasons Being that, we have so many Monarchs and rulers, majorly due to our rich culture and tradition, we so much cherish and protect, and many of our kings are very wealthy, due to the fact that a lot of them inherit vast wealth from their ancestors from the past, so here is the Top 5 Rich kings in a Nigeria.

 

1.Oba Obateru Akinrutan:-

The ruler of Ugbo kingdom, a town from Ilaje Local Government, Ondo State Surprisingly makes the first position. He is the founder of Obat oil and gas, he is a billionaire, and a very big businessman, in 2014 Forbes ranked him as the second richest king in Africa and the richest in Nigeria, obviously, he is one of the kings you never expect to be one this list but, I actually take the first position, you don’t actually get to see his name in the news or in conversation regularly maybe because he is not actually one of Yoruba’s most famous Monarchs, but he is definitely busy making with making money and accumulating wealth.

2. Obi Of Onitsha:-

Also another Great king from Onitsha, he is the traditional ruler of Onitsha, Anambra State. He was formerly an Executive director at Shell Petroleum Development Company, He once workes in the banking sector before becoming the Obi, his estimated worth is said to be around $50 million.

3.Sultan Of Sokoto:-

And here we finally have ourselves one of the most famous kings in the Country, his not only famous but also Very Rich, and wealthy, He took charge of the office of the king when his brother died in 2006, he came in as the 20th.
