At the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, on Friday, the Anambra State team of Chiamaka Nwankwo, Lucy Nwankwo, Oluebube Ezechukwu, and Adaeze Eze won the 4100 female relay final.
The quartet crossed the finish line in 47.80 seconds to take home the only gold medal in the competition.
In the 200-meter final, Ezechukwu finished third after finishing in 2511 seconds to take home the bronze, while Lucy lost a spot to take home the silver in 24.88 seconds.

Anambra now has a total of 14 medals, including six gold, five silver, and three bronze, after these victories.
The state will compete in the 100m final on Saturday before the closing ceremony.
