Shina Peller, a member of the House of Representatives representing Oyo State’s Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency, has lost his campaign for the APC’s Oyo North senatorial ticket (APC).
Shina Peller, a Nigerian entrepreneur, politician, and industrialist, has lost the APC ticket to Senator Fatai Buhari, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
Buhari received 570 votes to Peller’s five, thereby terminating Peller’s four-year tenure in the National Assembly.

Buhari is the senator in charge of the Oyo North senatorial district.
Peller, who was elected to the House in 2019, declined to seek re-election to a second term in order to honor a deal to rotate the seat in his district.
On Sunday, a group of unhappy aspirants on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State lamented that the state’s primary election committee had gone missing and that no primaries had been held in the state.
The committee set up to conduct the process in Taraba was nowhere to be found, according to Barr. Shitu Muhammed, the group’s chairman, who announced this in a news conference at the party secretariat in Jalingo on behalf of the other hopefuls.

While asking individuals posing as candidates to stop, the hopefuls also urged on the party’s national working committee to handle the issue immediately in order to avoid any negative consequences in the general election.
