The perpetrators responsible for the deaths of four vigilantes and the critical injuries of two others in the state will be caught, according to the Anambra State Police Command.
Nnaghe Itam, the Commissioner of Police, made the commitment on Monday, according to a statement released by Tochukwu Ikenga, the Command’s Public Relations Officer.
According to Ikenga, three vigilantes were killed and one unwary bystander was hurt by the armed guys driving an unregistered Lexus 330 SUV and a Honda FJ Cruiser SUV near Ekeagu Abatete.

According to the police image maker, another vigilante was shot and killed, another was injured, and two vehicles were set on fire at Ukpo intersection in the Dunkunofia Local Government Area while evading a fierce pursuit by the Police Responding Team.
The deceased’s remains have been found, according to the police, and the injured are presently being treated at the hospital.
In addition to expressing sympathy for the deceased’s family, friends, and community, the police said they will stop at nothing to apprehend those responsible for the savage act and bring about justice.
The statement also said that the public would be informed of any new developments on the subject.
