According to the sources, there have been rumblings over the potential of an Osinbajo/Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso ticket running on the NNPP platform.
Close advisors to the Vice President, however, claimed that rumors of a transfer to the NNPP are unfounded.
Anaedoonline.ng reports that Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of NNPP, is in talks with the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, over a political alliance.

“On the other hand, Kwankwaso is known to be an accomplished grassroots politician in the North-West who can easily complement the VP.”
