According to Abdulmumin Jibrin, a member of the House of Representatives who represents Kano’s Kiru/Bebeji seat, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) is amenable to forming an alliance with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Hon. Jibrin stated during the prayers that there is no secret about his friendship with President Tinubu.
He went on to say that Kwankwaso is his mentor and that he will keep pushing for a cordial connection between the president and the NNPP presidential candidate.
According to Jibrin, the NNPP is a very promising party that is still willing to work with the APC, the PDP, the LP, and any other interested parties in order to form alliances, merge, or collaborate for the benefit of all Nigerians.
In addition, the congressman running for a fourth term pledged to use his limited political network to approach other candidates in Kano politics in an effort to settle all disputes and reduce the strain that the state is currently experiencing due to the Kano governorship.
