PDP chieftain Umar Sani has encouraged the opposition party to suspend Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike for anti-party conduct during the recently concluded general elections.
Sani, a former special adviser on media to former Vice President Namadi Sambo, made the announcement on Thursday during an Arise Television interview that Newsmen was watching.
He believes Wike should be dealt similarly to former Enugu State Governor Chimaroke Nnamani, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Pius Anyim, and others suspended by the party last week.

He explained that Wike, the G5 Governors’ pioneer, is a larger challenge for the party.
He asked: “Who is more anti-party than Governor Nyesom Wike, a person who insults the party’s Chairman, presidential candidate daily?”
The PDP has been rocked by a post-election crisis that has resulted in the ouster of the party’s chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
