………Air Peace offers girls free ride
The five students of Regina Pacis Model Secondary School Onitsha, who emerged World Champions in the just concluded Technovation Competition will today be hosted by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on behalf of the Federal Government at the Presidential villa Abuja.
The World Champions who represented Nigeria and Africa in the competition, defeated their contemporaries from nine technologically advanced countries including the USA, India, Turkey, China, Uzbekistan, Spain among others with a mobile application called FD-detector developed to help tackle the challenge of fake pharmaceutical products.
The Commissioner for Basic Education, Professor Kate Omenugha who disclosed this to the press in Awka, said that the event will take place at the Presidential villa Abuja.
The students were also given scholarships up till their first degrees in university by Governor Obiano during their welcome home in Anambra state.
Air Peace has also congratulated five Anambra State students and their teachers on emerging victorious in the recent Technology challenge held in the United States
The Airline, honoured the students with free return Owerri-Abuja tickets to facilitate their visit to the Presidential Villa, Abuja today.
