The senator representing Kaduna North Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Sani, who is known for his poetic and satirical ways of hitting at fellow politicians has made mockery of the public display of emotions by a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and former vice president of the country, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Senator Sani who stated this in a satirical post made on his twitter page, likened the situation where the former vice president was found shedding tears over the purchase of his nomination form as a common trick amongst the political elites.
see tweet:
A politician and a friend gave me a pepper and a Handkerchief to rub on my face so as to shed tears ‘on the plight of the masses’’when I’m collecting and submitting my nomination form.I politely turned him down.I told him that I’m an activist and not an actor.
