Ex-convict arrested for car theft few days after he left prison

The Police in Ogun state have arrested an ex-convict for stealing a Nissan Almera car. According to reports, this occurred a few days after he was released from prison.
The suspect who confessed to the theft, had previously been convicted for the same crime Talk about messing up a second chance, this suspected criminal, Ayomide Ifabode who was recently arrested by the police in Ogun state for car theft, seems to be the perfect representation of an unrepentant criminal.
According to reports, he is currently cooling off in the police station for for allegedly stealing a Nissan Almera car with registration number AAB 87 TF, few days after he left prison.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the Ogun State police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, shows that the ex-con was arrested on September 17, at Ototo Village, along Kobape Road, Abeokuta.
The suspect had taken the vehicle to the village after stealing it from where it was parked by the owner at Ijeun-Titun area of Abeokuta metropolis. The statement further revealed: β€œOn interrogation, the suspect confessed that he stole the car from where it was parked, using a master key. He also confessed of just coming out of prison yard where he just finished a jail term over a similar crime. Recovered from him apart from the car is the master key.
