FG abandons National Carrier Project

The Federal government has suspended its national carrier due to take off in December. This is coming several weeks after its unveiling where millions have been spent on designing the project.

In a tweet made available by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika through his twitter handle, he said: “I regret to announce that the Federal Executive Council has taken the tough decision to suspend the National Carrier Project in the interim. All commitments due will be honoured,” aviation minister Hadi Sirika said on Wednesday.
“We thank the public for the support as always.”
