AFCON QUALIFIERS : SUPER EAGLES ARRIVE JOHANNESBURG
The Super Eagles and other contingents arrived Johannesburg at about 3 am South Africa time and 2 am Nigeria time.
The team headed straight to Capital Apartment on Katherine Street, Sandton where they would be lodged for the duration of stay.
The Super Eagles’ first training session in Johannesburg will take place today by 3 pm Nigeria time.
Speaking to newsmen upon arrival was the Nigeria’s Chief Coach, Imama Amapakabo, who said, “We are here for business and to seal the qualification before the last match in Nigeria in 2019.”
He added, “We are very optimistic and in high spirit, determined to win the match.”
He went on to say that the team was in a confident mood with no signs of anxiety from players or technical crew.
The former Rangers international coach concluded by saying the team had an outright victory over the Bafana Bafana in mind and promised Nigerians that the Super Eagles would leave South Africa with all three points.
