17 STATES YET TO WIN MEDALS AT THE ONGOING NSF

Defending champions, Delta State continued from where they stopped in 2012 as they have raked in 20 gold, 4 silver, and 8 bronze medals as at the time of filing this report.
Delta has been able to win 32 medals altogether.

Rivers State comes second with 5 gold, 7 silver and 11 bronze medals.
Interestingly, seven states are yet to win any medal as they continue to search for laurels in different sports.

The 17 states are: Zamfara, Taraba, Sokoto, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi, Kebbi, Katsina, Jigawa, Gombe, Enugu, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Borno, Akwa Ibom and Adamawa.

However, the host city, FCT are sixth on the medals table with 3 gold, 2 silver and two bronze medals.
