The Commercial City of Nnewi, Anambra State, is set to host big-time music icons, Kool P, Davido, Mr Real and Perruzi, at the 2019 New Year Day.
Nnewi born music artiste, Kool P, who spoke with Anaedoonline pledged to attract his friends, Davido, Mr. Real and Perruzi, who will together, rock Nnewi community, and set new record.
Kool P said the New Year music concert will be first of its kind in Nnewi; and expressed belief that the community will be glad hosting the concert.
“I have come to realise that concerts like this don’t happen in Nnewi here. The people derive joy in watching masquerades and hanging out in bars and joints; there are no other activities. Every time, every year, this same pattern of celebrating Christmas is what you see, so, I want to bring in something new and I believe that my people will love it and will like to continue”.

Kool P, born as Ulasi Chukwudi, named some of his works to include
“Omamme”, “Ezenku”, “Abeg” and “Ebeano”, with videos of each on YouTube; adding that his singles will be sang on the New Year day.
