PAINFUL! ANAMBRA STATE ASSEMBLY LOSSES 2 MEMBERS IN 18 MONTHS

The Anambra State House of Assembly, Wednesday, February 27, lost its member, Hon. Sir Patrick Aniunoh, representing Onitsha I Constituency. Aniunoh died after a protracted illness.

This is the second death striking the state assembly in 18 months.

Another member of the state assembly, Francis Mmegbuaneze, who represented Idemili North state constituency died 18 months ago, precisely Wednesday, August 16, 2017, after an undisclosed sickness. He died after participating in a primary election that produced Willie Obiano as candidate of APGA for November 17, 2017 governorship election in Anambra.
