BREAKING NEWS: IBETO VS SMART: IBETO GRATIFIES NNEWI PG’S WITH N20,000 EACH TO ENDORSE OBINNA NGONADI AGAINST SMART
Information reaching Anaedoonline.com is that Chief Dr Cletus Ibeto is currently having an emergency meeting in his house with all the President Generals of all communities across the four quarter villages in Nnewi which includes communities in Otolo, Uruagu, Umudim and Nnewichi with the purpose of asking them to endorse Obinna Ngonadi, the YPP candidate of Nnewi for Anambra State House of Assembly.
Anaedoonline understands that the PG’S are being paid N20,000 each and given a document to sign that they must deliver Obinna Ngonadi across their communities in Nnewi.
The PG’S are mandated to within 48hrs to call for a meeting in their various communities and endorse Obinna Ngonadi against Smart Okafor.
Anaedoonline understands that there are some PG’S who are against this current imposition from a personality like Ibeto and have vowed to work against him.
There is a further plot by Ibeto and his camp to call a “Thank you” meeting on Thursday at the Ifeanyi Ubah stadium with a motive to openly endorse Obinna Ngonadi. The meeting will come as a guise of thanking Nnewi people for voting massively for Chris Azubogu and Ifeanyi Ubah who both were successful in the last election. Thereafter, a subtle way will be provided to endorse Ngonadi.

The reason why Ibeto who is seen across Nnewi as the father to all will choose to play partisan politics in a town like Nnewi by openly imposing a brother against another brother instead of endorsing all the candidates and giving them his blessings remains a source of confusion to major political stakeholders in Nnewi

The full onslaught by Ibeto against the candidacy of Smart has been likened by many as the fight between David and Goliath.
