SUPER EAGLES FANS CONSIDER COURT ACTION AFTER FIGHT WITH RIVAL FACTION

Chairman of Authentic Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club Abayomi Ogunjimi aka ‘Bonfrere’ has revealed they will consider legal action against rival faction led by Vincent Okumagba after a fight broke out between them at the 2019 AFCON qualifier against Seychelles in Asaba.

‘Bonfrere’ split from the Okumagba faction after last year’s World Cup in Russia.

He has now accussed the faction led by his former boss of assaulting his own supporters’ club at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba Friday.

“They attacked my boys that one of them now has a black eye and all his clothes torn,” alleged Ogunjimi, who has been cheering the Eagles for over two decades.

“We need to take legal action against Okumagba and his boys because they have no right to do what they did.”

Ogunjimi further alleged that he has proof that Okumagba has not been transparent and accountable, adding that he is only “desperate to attain power”.

“He just wants to override others,” he blasted.
