The state government urged Chuka and co to come to terms with the fact that the government would not condone any act of indiscipline and lawlessness from them.

According to a statement issued by the Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. C. Don Adinuba that was made available to Daily Trust in Awka on Sunday, he said that government would not tolerate such act of indiscipline and lawlessness, noting that if they continue they would be made to feel the full weight of the law.
According to Adinuba, it is highly intolerable that Chuka Idigo has in the last few days been posting on the social media pictures depicting him as a traditional ruler of Aguleri kingdom.

The pictures, Adinuba said were taken in Chuka’s living room, describing the action as comic relief. He said, if Chuka Idigo had set out to attempt a comedy appropriate for the Nollywood industry, he has gone too far.

According to him, the monarchy is too important and sacred institution for any grown-up person to toy with. Adinuba said, following passage of Ogalagidi Christopher Nwabunwanne Idigo, the kingmakers and people of Aguleri nominated Michael Idigo as their next Igwe, and he took the sobriquet of Ezeudo.

He also added that Idigo was subsequently presented to the Anambra State Government which has since recognized him as the traditional ruler of Aguleri by giving him the appropriate certificate.

According to the commissioner, Dr. Micheal Idigo was crowned at a ceremony which was attended and celebrated by hundreds of thousands of Aguleri people, their in-laws, friends, and well-wishers.
