Are We Waiting For This Erosion To Swallow Nkwo Nnewi Before We Act?

The Erosion At 100 Foot Road has surged forward that it has Cut off the Road leading to Nkwo Nnewi from 100 Foot Rd.
Recall That Anaedoonline had notified the State Govt about this erosion menace but up till this very moment, the erosion has been surging forward unchallenged .
Anaedoonline.com spoke with residents of the area and they had sad stories to tell.
According to a shop owner in the area, he said, ” If Government came to our rescue when this erosion was just a dumping site , I believe it would have been checkmated ”
Another resident lamented that for the fact that 100 foot Rd being a Route that leads to many places in Nnewi should have compelled the Govt to take it as a Top Priority , unfortunately, the Government stood by and allowed Erosion to take over the road.
Speaking to anaedoonline.ng , Ebuka a provision seller said this Erosion will only increase insecurity in the area .
He said,” This place will now become a rendezvous for hoodlums and brigands which would increase crime rate in the area . Further delay may be very dangerous. ”
You may also recall that work has been going on at Obiofia Nnewichi Erosion Site, albeit at a very slow pace.
