Biafra: Banks, Markets In Nnewi Set To Be Closed Down Tomorrow
Most banks, markets in Nnewi are set to be closed down tomorrow ahead of the Biafra Remembrance day.
According to traders and residents in Nnewi, there appears to be a warning by the members of the IPOB for a complete sit at home in remembrance of the Nigerian civil war of 1967-1970
It will be recalled that this has been the practice in 5 South Eastern States in Previous years.
However, according to a reliable source from one of the banks in Nnewi who spoke to anaedoonline.ng in anonymity.
She said, “In my bank, we will work tomorrow but we will dress down and keep the bank doors closed in order to avoid disturbance ”.
