At the hearing of the case today, Mr. Chidi Emele, the plaintiff pleaded with the Court to free the suspect Kenneth Elijah on the ground of interrogative of Mercy.

Speaking to Anaedonline.com, Mr Chidi said he had pity on Kenneth when he saw how pitiable he looked while the prosecuting council was bringing him into the court, and right there he decided to withdraw the case and free him.

He further said that he believed that Kenneth must have learnt his lessons after being in cell for the past three months.
