Nkwo Nnewi Motor Parts Chairman Lists Out Their Urgent Needs, Appeals To Gov Obiano

Chairman Agbo-Edo Motor Spare Parts Dealers Association (AMSPDA), Mr. Dennis Uchenna Ikegwuonu (Onye Isi) has appealed to Anambra State Government to consider extending the ongoing street lightening project into Nkwo Nnewi market and also provide fire service in the market as well as rendering assistance in proposed projects to be executed in Agbo-Edo motor spare parts section of Nkwo Nnewi market.

Mr. Dennis Ikegwuonu while speaking exclusively to Anaedoonline.com today being 2nd June 2019, appealed to the Anambra State Government to consider extending the ongoing street lightening into Nkwo Nnewi market as it will aid in fighting crime within the market.

Speaking, he said, “I appeal to the Anambra State Government to extend the ongoing street lightening project that is currently going on in some parts of Nnewi into Nkwo Market as this will improve security and help to prevent crime within the market. ‘’

Speaking About The poor safety measures in Nkwo Nnewi market, The Chairman pointed out the absence of fire service, which should not be so for a large, busy, ultra-modern market like Nkwo Nnewi.

Speaking further, he said, “the State Government should address the issue of lack of fire service in Nkwo Nnewi market with every sense of urgency. This should be the priority of all market dealers, customers and State Government, considering the number of generators in all parts of the market, number of equipment being used in the market, number of shops that consume electricity and the population in the market. Fire Service should be created within the market, for an efficient response to any fire outbreak in the market.”

Mr. Dennis Ikegwuonu didn’t fail to appeal to the Anambra State Government to assist the Agbo-Edo Motor Spare Parts Dealers Association (AMSPDA) in any way that they can on the proposed projects to be carried out so as to improve growth and development in the market.’’

Speaking, he said, “there are key projects to be carried out in the Agbo-Edo motor spare parts section of Nnewi, such as bore-holes, improved security and lots more, however, due to insufficient funds, only a few of the projects are ongoing. I plead with the Anambra State Government to assist in any way that they can.’’
