Melie Onyejepu Delivers Keynote Address In America, Speaks On Investment Opportunities in Anambra. (photos)
The Special Adviser to the Governor of Anambra State on Budget Monitoring and Efficiency, Hon. Sir Melie Onyejepu, has encouraged Anambrians in Diaspora to come home and invest in the State.
Hon. Melie Onyejepu who was a Guest Speaker in Nnewi 2019 convention in Dallas Texas, USA, said that Anambra State under Willie Obiano is the best investment destination for any prospective investor in Nigeria.
Delivering his address, Melie Onyejepu who is also a technocrat and accomplished banker, praised Governor Obiano for his developmental strides in Anambra State, describing him as God-sent to the State.
He said that the Governor is building a socially stable, business-friendly environment that would attract both indigenes and foreigners to seek wealth-creating opportunities in the State.
He highlighted the Governor’s achievement which spans across all sectors , including Agriculture, Industrialization, Trade and Commerce , Oil and Gas, Security, Education, Health, Roads and Social Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, Finance, Electricity, Tourism, and Youth development and Entrepreneurship.

On the investment opportunities in the State, he urged Anambrians, especially Nnewi residents in America to build industries and also invest in other service sectors.
Nnewi Convention is an annual event where Ndi-Nnewi who are based in America converge to discuss developmental stride, chart ways to lend their voices to the happenings in the community and also get briefed by mostly keynote speakers on what is happening and the better ways they can tackle it.
Another major one is that he informed them about the anambra medical insurance scheme which they should embrace to assist their wards at home reduce the cost of medical bills.
Ndi-Nnewi, important dignitaries, friends and well wishes thronged to the venue of this year’s convention that was hosted by Nnewi Union DFW and held at the Sheraton Hotel DFW.
