Jonathan Is Patriotic, His Children Schooled In Nigeria — Omokri

Reno Omokri, an ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has asked that the former president’s name be taken out of the list of unpatriotic Nigerians leaders who patronize foreign schools and hospitals.Omokri was reacting to a comment by Tope Fasua, that one can not find a patriotic Nigerian leader whose children don’t school abroad and whose doctors are in the country.

Omokri asked that Jonathan be excluded from the list because his children school in Nigeria and it wasn’t publicized because of fear of Boko Haram attack.

He wrote via his Twitter handle on Saturday, Jonathan’s children schooled in Nigeria while he was President. We didn’t publicize it then so Boko Haram would not target them. His kids attended UNICAL and BIS, VI, Lagos. Please remove him from your list of unpatriotic leaders.

Recall that Vice president Yemi Osinbajo flew to the UK a few days ago to attend the graduation ceremony of his son, from a UK university.
