Minimum Wage: Oshiomhole Questions Implementation Process

The  National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, has questioned the handling of the process of implementation of the  N30,000 new minimum wage.

Oshiomhole, a former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, spoke in Abuja during a reception held in honour of the Director-General of the International Labour Organisation, Guy Ryder.

The former governor of Edo State also called on stakeholders to handle the new minimum wage process differently.

He said, “We have to do things differently about the minimum wage. So, if every other cost is changing and labour cost is constant, somebody is being squeezed.

“Rising crisis, stagnant wages, a very miserable lifestyle, and you have to fight for that.
