Nigerian Emerges Winner Of The World Physics Competition

Dr Yakubu Nura, of the University of Maiduguri, Borno has emerged winner of the world physics competition.
The World Championship 2019 in Physics (Einstein’s Planetary Equation) acknowledged the outstanding international contributions of Dr Yakubu Nura. His selection was based on an international meritorious competition.
Nura’s research article was adjudged the best and beating 5,721 nominations from 97 countries that were screened for the championship.

Out of the 25 African scientists that made the forum across 30 countries, six from Nigeria made it as the NEF third-class fellows. The names of the proud Nigerian scientists are Dr Ademola Adenle, Dr Daniel Akinyele, Dr Obidimma Ezezika, Dr Blesssing Mbabie, Dr Ebele Mogo and Dr Eucharia Nwaichi.
It was also reported that the future looks bright for 8-year-old Stephanie Ogechukwu who recently copped a gold medal at the African Gymnastics Championship held in South Africa. The young girl is walking the path of being known globally for being talented and chasing her dreams. It was gathered that Ogechukwu began chasing her dreams at the tender age of two and was lucky to have her parents support her dreams and talent.
