Federal Commissioner Intervenes In Land Dispute Between A Traditional Ruler And Unizik Prof.

The OMBUDSMAN, Prince Samben Nwosu today 20th August 2019 intervened in the protracted land dispute matter between HRH, Igwe Peter Uyanwa, the Traditional Ruler of the Ukwulu Kingdom and Prof. Tony Eze of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

The Federal Commissioner assured the Complainant and Respondent that the matter has gone through protracted tussles must be amicably resolved by the Commission.

Due to the absence of some witnesses and other documentary exhibits, the OMBUDSMAN after the case presentations by both parties adjourned the case conference to 2nd September 2019 to draw more facts from the witnesses and exhibits before giving his final judgment.

He assured both parties that the Commission is a place to settle pressing matters of which all involved must go home smiling having known the truth themselves after all investigations & proofs.
