Chris Azubuogu, Igwe Nnewi, Visits Ongoing Nnewi Stadium Project
The Member Representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency, in the Federal House of Representative, Hon. Engr. Chris Azubuogu has inspected the ongoing Nnewi Stadium which is currently under construction.
The Lawmaker who was accompanied by Igwe Nnewi, His Royal Highness, Igwe Kenneth Onyemeke Orizu (III), was in the site to assure the Abubor Nnewichi community especially the youths of his sincere commitment towards ensuring that the project also is beneficial to them.
According to Hon. Engr. Chris Azubuogu, the facility when completed, will give Nnewi a facelift and will attract a lot of sporting activities and important events.
He, however, promised to ensure the speedy completion of the 10,000 capacity Stadium in a reasonable time.
Speaking during the visit, Former People’s Democratic Party (PDP), House of Assembly Aspirant for Nnewi North State Constituency, Hon. Ejim Ucheagwu informed Anaedoonline.com that the stadium which was attracted by Hon. Engr. Chris Azubuogu is the only stadium being constructed by the Federal Government in the South East among the Five (5) others currently going on in other regions.
During the visit, Hon. Engr. Chris Azubuogu was also accompanied by Nnewi Crown Prince, Prince Barr. Obianefo Orizu, Former People’s Democratic Party (PDP), House of Assembly Aspirant for Nnewi North State Constituency, Hon. Ejim Ucheagwu, Chief Publisher Vintage Newspaper, Mr. Hector Osondu and other personalities.
