PLENARY: Rehabilitate Abacha-Oraukwu Road, Anambra Assembly Urges Gov’t

Anambra State house of Assembly has called on the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano to direct the commissioner for works and the commissioner for the environment to visit the site of Abache-Oraukwu road and do the needful before the road gets cut off

The member representing Idemili North Constituency at the Anambra state house of Assembly, Arthur Ifeanyi Chiekwu at the hallowed chambers Chiekwu, raised the alarm as a matter of urgency stating that the road which is in a very devastating and pity stage needs urgent attention.

Chiekwu who brought the picture of the road for his collogues to see frowned at the difficulties and inconveniences the two communities have been subjected to.

In his words “ This particular road has caused untold hardship to my constituents as those with vehicles no longer ply that road, my constituents who do business along that road and within the vicinity no longer do their business as no vehicle will agree to convey their goods to that area as anymore because of the impassable condition of the road. I urge our dear Governor, the commissioner for works and that of the environment to run to our rescue before things get worst”. He submitted.
