Members of the Progressive Anambra Youth(PAY) has congratulated the Member Representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nonso Okafor (Smart) on his victory at the election tribunal.
The election tribunal sitting in Awka yesterday, Monday, 23rd September 2019, dismissed the petition brought before it by the Young Progressive Party Anambra State House of Assembly Candidate for Nnewi North Constituency, Dr. Obinna Ngonadi and his party, challenging the declaration of Hon. Chukwunonso Peter Okafor as the winner of the March 9th 2019, Anambra State House of Assembly Election in Nnewi.
Reacting to the Judgement through a Press Release, the group said that the Judgement is a confirmation and a glaring testimony that he was the choice of the people during the election.

They advised Dr. Obinna Ngonadi of the Young Progressive Party to accept the verdict in good faith and in the spirit of sportsmanship.
