Rev. Dr. Francis Osuigwe Laid To Rest In Nnewi, Anambra State (Photos)

The burial ceremony of Late Rev. Dr. Francis Nwabueze Osuigwe, General Overseer, Grace & Mercy Bible Church Ilorin, Kwara State, was held on Thursday, 24th Oct 2019.

The burial ceremony took place in his hometown Okpuno Nnewichi Nnewi, Anambra State.

Rev. (Dr.) Frances Nwabueze Osuigwe passed on after a brief illness on 11th Sept. 2019. He died in the company of his wife and children after giving his last words.

 

The message of the service was delivered by Rev. Emeka Joseph, Snr Pastor, Believers Faith world International with the theme, Do you know your destination? The minister focused on everyone living their life on earth as children of God. He stressed on the need for a good relationship with God while on earth so that we will be with God on the last day.
The late Rev. Osuigwe was praised for his good works and the impact he had on the Igbo community in Kwara state. During an interview with Mrs. Josephine Chinwe Osuigwe, she explained that today marks her 40 years anniversary. She said, “He was a loving husband and was a blessing to many people he met. He helped so many people. I am grateful to God for today and the life he lived. I thank everyone who came today, God bless you all”.

The Osuigwe’s were surrounded by family, friends, and wellwishers who came to condole with them during the Burial. Some of the dignitaries present include; High Chief Felix Moneke, Chukwuemeka Moneke, Barr. Anene Moneke, Chief and Mrs. Obi Onyemelukwe, Chukwuma Okoye and family, Barr. Oseloka Osigwe,
Catechist Fidelity Oranusi, Igbo brethren Association Kwara State, Grace and Mercy Bible church Kwara state, Ifeanyi Osakwe Family,
Johnbosco, Uzo Odinukwe, AP Jos, John Okoye,
Godwin Nwachukwu, Gabriel Igbokwe,
Hon. Tony Elochukwu, Chieloka Ubajiekwe, The Emechebe Family, etc.

The eldest son of the late Rev. Osuigwe, Azubuike Osuigwe expressed his sadness over the sudden death of his father. “We had a good father and son relationship, I will miss him. I want to thank everyone who came out to mourn with us and I wish them a safe journey back home”, he said
