Umunnem Ndi Nnewi, glory belongs to God, whose power is at work in us. By this power, he has done infinitely more than we have asked and imagined. Today, I wish to return all glory to him for thus far he has led us in this journey.
Today, the Court of Appeal sitting in Enugu affirmed the judgment of the Tribunal, which affirmed my victory as the winner of the House of Assembly election for Nnewi North State Constituency which held on the 9th day of March 2019.
This judgement has laid to rest every matter relating to this election as the Appeal Court is the final arbiter on all matters relating to this election. It has vindicated us and validated the mandate you massively gave to me through the ballot.
Despite the huge distractions, resources wasted and time spent in these last seven months in court, I am grateful that the Almighty God has given us victory, as this will enable me to work even harder for the progress of the good people of Nnewi.

I remain grateful to all my supporters, family, fans, friends and well-wishers who stood strongly by me throughout these trying times. I commend the Judiciary for being true to its creed as the beacon of Hope and the sanctuary of justice and equity for humanity, especially the common man.
This victory is for all of us. I plead with all my supporters to bear no grudges with anybody. I am happy we have come this far. We are all brothers and sisters despite what has happened. Let us embrace peace so we can forge ahead for a better and brighter future.
Umunnem Ndi Nnewi, oke anyi agaghi efu. This is my deep and personal commitment to our people. Today, I am renewing my vow to you and rededicating myself to the service of our people as your servant in the Anambra State House of Assembly.
For the youths, the vulnerable and voiceless in our society, I pledge to continue doing my best to make sure your voices are heard, loud and clear.
May God continue to bless us all.
