”There are many people who are trading in the market and if we do not provide the fire service outlet and there is any fire outbreak, it will cause a lot of destruction” he said.

Onoh said that all those that will be affected by the development will be relocated to the New Market provided they have their genuine Allocation Order.

”Those who do not have the order will have to look for alternatives because we need space to construct the station which will benefit everyone” he said.

On his achievements in office so far, the LG chair said that he started and will soon complete the 500 capacity Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Pavilion located at the LG.

The tenure of the LG chairmen who were elected in 2017 officially comes to an end on the 4th of December, 2019.
