Anambra Gov’t Declare Nov 18 Public Holiday

Anambra State Government has declared Monday, November 18th 2019 public holiday in commemoration of Nnamdi Azikiwe’s birthday.   

In a statement signed by Head of Service Anambra State, Barrister Harry Uduh, reads “This is to inform the public that Anambra state government has declared Monday, 18th November 2019 as work-free day for everyone in Anambra state.
This is in commemoration of the birthday of Late Hon. Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe (Owelle of Onitsha), former President of Nigeria.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Commend Anambra Police Command

It would be recalled that the 7th Assembly of Anambra state at plenary through a motion sponsored by the member representing Anambra East constituency, Obinna Chris Emeneka called on the Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano to declare the birthday of Zik a public holiday day as a mark of honour.
