Mother Of Four Arraigned In Court For Alleged Child Trafficking

A Juvenile Court in Owerri, Imo State, on Thursday remanded a mother of four, Nkiruka Kamalu, in prison till January 16 over child trafficking and conspiracy allegations.

The presiding magistrate, A.O. Odioyenma, after listening to motions for and against her bail, ordered that the suspect be remanded in prison.

She directed the court’s registrar to transfer the file to the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for proper arraignment in a magistrate or high court.
