Anambra Police Arrest Four Suspects  

Anambra State Police Command has arrested Suspect Involved In Armed Robbery, Abduction and Rap. In a statement signed by its spokesperson ,SP Haruna Mohammed’ PPRO Anambra State  confirmed  the arrest stating that the suspects will be charged to court.

According to the statement, the suspects were napped by Police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti robbery Squad (SARS) with the recently launched operations Kpochakpu by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano at Ozubulu.

The suspects whose names are: Collins Okpala, aged 25 years. Nwachukwu Chimanya  aged 20years, Kenechukwu Anyasi  aged 23 years  and, Pascal Ogbuagu aged 22 years. Confessed to the crime.

Suspects had on febuary 14th2019 abducted a girl of about 21years old (Name withheld) robbed her of her belongings and equally gang raped her severally.

The suspects made a pornographic video clip of the rape incident and used the video to blackmail the victim to the tune of one million naira.(#1,000,000)

Suspects have confessed to the crime while the said video clip was also recovered from their phones and registered as an exhibit. They will soon be charged to court for prosecution as soon as investigation is concluded.

Anambra police Command under the watch of CP John B.Abang, fdc  reiterated its willingness and readiness to continue to provide safe and secure environment for all the citizenry before during and after the Christmas and new year celebrations.
