Ebonyi State Government has assured Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Ebonyi State Branch of some hectares of Land for building of their staff housing estate behind their office at Centenary city, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
The Governor gave this assurance at EXCO Chambers, Government House, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State while receiving the Branch Controller, Adayi, Chris Onah who came to inform him about their account opening week, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 3rd December, 2019 at Onueke.
Governor Umahi thanked them for their warm sentiment in his developmental strides and for commending his award as the best performing Governor of the year by Business Day media and promised to do more .

Earlier in his address, the branch controller commended the governor for the way his administration has developed Abakaliki into the fastest growing state in Nigeria, an effort he described as ‘an unparallel achievement that the Governor has refused to make any noise about’.
The controller also congratulated the Governor on his well deserved award by Business Day Media as the best performing Governor of the year and his excellent infrastructural developments going on in the state and prayed to the governor to use his good office in the media to strengthen the account opening week to ensure active participation of the general public and some hectares of land for their staff.
