Anambra Corps Member Attracts Scholarships To Orphaned Twins, Others

In a ceremony organized by the Corps member in liaison with the secretary Epiphany family of Infant Jesus Mr. Emma Nnemelu to mark this great foot, five students were awarded scholarships by well-meaning Nigerians.

The ceremony had in attendance secondary schools in Idemili North LGA including Arch Bishop Heery Technical College Ogidi(ABHTC), Dominica Sisters College Abatete among others.

The female twin Francais Mokonogoh of SS3A was awarded scholarship by Sabata Totality Company Limited while her twin brother Francis Mokonogoh of SS3B was awarded by the local government inspector NYSC Idemili North Mr. Princewill Uzoho; both students attend Dominica Sisters college.

Two indigent students of Arch Bishop Heery Technical College Wisdom Ezebunwa of JSS2A, and Onwe Victory of JSS2B were singled out and awarded scholarship by a Non-governmental organization- Civil Initiative for Advancing development (CIAD) founded by the special assistant to the governor on women and children, Mr. Onyeka Ebenebe who in his benevolent characteristic manner took compassion on them and pledged to aid their education.

During the emotionally overwhelming ceremony, Mr. Nnemelu awarded an excellence scholarship award to the overall best student of ABHTC- Okoye Gerald of SS2B.

The corps member Mr. Ikechukwu Meshack Ezeadim recalled the painful incident that happened last year that left the twins orphaned, he took pity on them and reached out to sponsors who could assist them pay their fee.

The principal ABHTC Ogidi Mr. Okeke Uche and other staff members present prayed for recipients of the scholarship while the manager ABHTC Ogidi Rev. Fr. Peter Nwadinkpa prayed for Mr. Ezeadim wishing him God’s grace and blessings.

Reports gathered said Mr. Ezeadim took it upon himself since he was assigned PPA to conduct free ICT training for students of ABHTC Ogidi from time to time.
