Gov. Uzodinma Must Continue Ihedioha’s Legacies – Anokam

Uzodinma and Ihedioha

An Owerri-based Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Sam Anokam, has cautioned Governor Hope Uzodinma against abandoning the legacies of his predecessor, Emeka Ihedioha.

According to him, if Uzodinma wants development to thrive, he must sustain the existing peace, security and calmness prevalent in the state.

Anokam, who addressed reporters at the weekend in Owerri, said Ihedioha exhibited calmness and peace, which should be sustained.

He said: “Hope Uzodinma should do his work as the governor of Imo State; look at what Ihedioha was able to do within his short time and consolidate on it for the benefit of Ndimo.

“I know Uzodinma has been aspiring to governor since 1999, and he must have his programmes. We need him to speed up action to rebuild Imo because his support cuts across the 27 local government areas. He must work hard to unite everybody to ensure we have peace otherwise the gains of Ihedioha’s seven months in office will be lost.”
