Goods and properties worth billions of naira have been destroyed as explosion rocks the popular Amu Timber Market in Mushin area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

The cause of the fire is not ascertained at the time of reporting this news.

Recall that there have been fire outbreak course by pipeline explosion few weeks ago in Lagos
Another pipeline explosion rocked Glory land Estate, Isheri Olofin area of Lagos, Southwest Nigeria on Thursday morning sending waves of panic to residents.
People are seen running helter-skelter to avert being caught in the explosion.
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, LASEMA, and the fire service are yet to arrive in the area to curtail the inferno as at 8:30 am.
Director-General, LASEMA, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu confirmed the explosion.
He said “There is an outbreak of fire at the back of Diamond Estate along Isheri/Lasu -Igando Road.
“I suspect that the fire must have been caused by pipeline vandalization. I have activated the Lagos State Response Plan. All key Stakeholders have moved to the scene.”
