143 Year Old Woman Celebrated In Ibadan, Oyo state (video)

An old Nigerian woman has been celebrated in Ibadan, Oyo state. The woman who lives in Ibadan is said to be 143 years old. A video of the 143-year-old woman is currently making rounds on social media.

The old woman was visited by Nigerian philanthropist, Adepeji Olukokun. The philanthropist, who is known for helping less-privileged Nigerians in different states, visited her in an attempt to give back to the community.

Olukokun often helps the community by sharing money or food for people who are in need of help.

In a video shared on Olukokun’s Instagram page, the philanthropist was seen giving the woman a sum of money, revealing that he gave her N5,000. He also had a conversation with her to find out how she has been living.

The video showed that the woman had first rejected the money given to her, saying that her children take care of her. However, people in the room urged her to take the money, but the video did not reveal if she ended up collecting the money from him. Olukokun in his caption noted that a lot of people are going through a lot and they live in pain and suffering. He said to a hungry person, every bitter food is sweet.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that centenarian, Dorothy Flowers, turned 108 on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, and she was celebrated for having a long life. The woman celebrated her birthday with her friends at the care home where she lives.

The woman and her friends had taken to social media to request for people to send her birthday cards. She is said to be the 68th oldest person in Great Britain. Flowers revealed that champagne and chocolate are the secrets of her long life.
