Chelsea held on for a draw with second-placed Leicester City during their domestic league clash at the KingPower stadium to ensure their tight grip on their fourth position.

The Blues had opened the scoring shortly after the second half began through Antonio Rudiger but the Foxes restored parity shortly afterward.

Leicester’s former England striker Jamie Vardy had their best first-half chance but he was denied by Willy Caballero who made other saves, and although his part in the Foxes second goal was questioned by some, Frank Lampard pointed the finger at the poor marking of the goalscorer instead.
