A young Brazilian man, Marcelo Araújo, 21, has been arrested and confessed to brutally killing his wife while they were in the middle of having sex.
Marcelo Araújo told the São Paulo police that he killed his make-up artist wife, Francine dos Santos, 22 after an argument about her becoming pregnant for the third time.
The suspect admitted to not wanting more children because he hated sharing his wife with them, and did not like the financial burden it placed on him as a young dad. The couple already had two children, a daughter, four, and a son, two.

On how the fight started, Mr. Araújo said that on December 22 last year, they had a discussion about plans for their family Christmas dinner but things went south as they began to argue about the pregnancy.
Not long after the argument, they settled their differences and went straight to their bedroom to make love.
During the intimate session, the suspect stabbed his wife several times before slashing her throat with a blade.
After the murder, he then tried to kill himself but did not succeed.
