According to the President of the University of Nigeria Students Bar Association, Mr. Chukwudi Kene Okeke, “The theme of the conference is strategic in such a time as this because it is intended that the conference will afford Law Students the opportunity of knowing how to navigate the ethical perversions seen in the legal profession and face the future without fear or favour”
“It is also intended that after this event, Undergraduate law students would be technically and intellectually ready to meet the demands of the legal job market across jurisdictional lines,” He said
The conference also serves as the date for the unveiling of The Progressive Bar Magazine; the official magazine publication of the University of Nigeria Students Bar.
The conference is also expected to host other legal minds and key players in Nigeria like O.M Atoyebi, SAN(Youngest Senior Advocate in Nigeria), Mr. Ikeazor Akariwe; (the first Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association), Mr. Davidson Oturu (Partner at AELEX Law firm) Mr. S.U Nweke-Eze (Senior Associate at Templars Law Firm). Mr. Christian Aniukwu (Associate at Aluko & Oyebode).
